Rev. & Mrs. Jerome Peralta and Melvyn, Lucsuhin Baptist Chruch Lucsuhin, Batangas

Years ago, in the mid 1980s, our family took a short vacation south of Manila to Batangas. One evening as we were
eating at a restaurant, I gave a Gospel tract to our waiter with a tip. The next morning this waiter came to our cottage
and wanted to know more about salvation. This waiter prayed to receive Christ and we followed him up with Bible Lessons
to help him grow in the Lord. 

Later on Bro. Jerome moved down from Manila to continue the follow up program with him. Eventually Jerome planted the 
Lucsuhin Baptist Church. Today they have a thriving church and a Bible Institute that is training his people. Just think, this all
started by giving a young waiter a Gospel tract. We believe in giving out tracts to everyone.

Carol and I were there on September 12, 2002 for the Commencement Exercise of their BI. The place was packed
to the walls with no place to sit.

Bro. Peralta is translating all of our Bible Institute curriculum into Tagalog so it will be more useful there in the Philippines. 
They also have a tremendous Faith Promise Missionary program. We commend the Peraltas for their burden, vision
and faithfulness these many years.
